Fort Bend County Judge KP George, Local Officials, & Religious Leaders Launch Virtual Iftar
Residents can pick up an Iftar Dinner in all Precincts of Fort Bend County
WHAT: Press Conference launching the first Fort Bend Countywide Virtual Iftar Dinner Pickup & Discussion. During this Holy Month of Ramadan we would typically come together at a traditional Iftar Dinner to enjoy the blessings of God. In light of being physically distant, it is even more important to stay connected with our friends, family, and faith. Thus, we are launching a Fort Bend Countywide Iftar where you can pick up an Iftar Dinner in each City and then join us virtually with Faith Leaders to reflect on our blessings.
Saturday, May 16th from 5:30-7:00pm for curbside pick up. 100 meals will be provided at each location on a first come, first serve basis. At 7:00pm, all will be able to join on Facebook Live here for an Interfaith Discussion.
Full details on all the locations and timings of food pick up and Facebook live discussion are here.
