KP GEORGE HOLDS VIRTUAL TOWNHALL ON MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS FROM THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC

Renowned Psychiatrist Dr. Asim Shah will answer questions on dealing with anxiety and stress 

WHAT: This Facebook Live Townhall is the launch of Judge KP George’s new “Fort Bend County Coronavirus Mental Health Task Force.” The Judge created the task force to tackle the mental health challenges that have come from the COVID-19 pandemic.  He named renowned psychiatrist Dr. Asim Shah as Chairman of the task force.  They will take questions from the public in the live format. The media is invited to watch the townhall on Facebook. 

WHO: Fort Bend County Judge KP George and Dr. Asim Shah, who is the Chief of Psychiatry at Ben Taub Hospital (Harris Health System) and the Executive Vice Chair of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Shah is a proud resident of Fort Bend County.
